New signs by Heidi Tullmann.

I met Heidi on a mission to Pleasure Beach, Connecticut to paint some abandoned houses. Heidi had been there a couple weekend already and had painted some amazing things (some below). The first weekend I was there I got a trespassing ticket. The second weekend Heidi, our friend Jan, and I spent most of the weekend hiding in a crawl space while cops peered around outside with searchlights and the lights on two radio towers on the beach mysteriously turned off. Good times. Pleasure Forever.

Tomorrow is the passing of the Wolfbats through Chelsea. I hope that you are still ready and willing to come wield an axe, pull the ship, and add to the chaos!! The opening starts at 6pm and we plan to set sail at 8pm. We will be leaving from the gallery at 548 w. 28th st. (Joshua Liner Gallery) and s-ing through the streets. The goal is to make it back to the gallery where Natur will be there to welcome us with a victory set. Dress warm!! This is going to be bananas!! Hope you can make it out!! I estimate the procession will take 30 minutes. The drummers are ready to play in the ships belly that we pull. It's on!!

The Pandoras - Hot Generation

The Salvation Army - Mind Gardens
The Three O'Clock - She Turn's To Flowers

In 1981 The Salvation Army ran into legal problems with the actual Salvation Army and had to change their name. They changed it to The Three O'Clock. The second video is from The Three O'Clock's LP titled Salvation Army. The rest of the stuff I've found from The Three O'Clock isn't as good, but this record is everything the pink and blue cover implies.

This is the cover for Parts and Labor's new album Constant Future. It was made by P&L's own BJ Warshaw.

There's a pretty good chance I'll be making a couple music videos for this album and I'm super psyched about it. Every song on the album calls for a visual and I'm glad to have the chance to do one or two.

Some new photographs by Fumie Ishii. Just-posted Maggie Lee is in there somewhere!

Fumie photographed me once when I had a 14-month beard. I shaved it off into a picture frame, but have yet to give it to her. Christmas is coming. Check out her photos of bearded men. Some good looking men in there.
